Annapurna circuit Trek is one of the world famous trekking destinations of the globe which is appreciated especially by international bodies. Nowadays the travel adventure to Himalayas has been categorized in a new theme as “The Great Himalayan Treks” where the most wanted and most appreciated destinations of Himalayas have been grouped together and listed in a publications letting the tourists know about the Himalayas in a summarized format. The travel adventure to Annapurna Circuit takes the travelers to one of the most beautiful places of mountains which are untouched and unspoiled from modern day civilization. The society, lifestyle, religion, settlements and people are same as they were centuries ago. At one time the travelers are on the land of Trans-Himalayan region where barren lands similar to a Tibetan regions dominated by antique Tibetan establishments, religion and society. The traditional settlements are known as Trans-Himalayan Locale who lives in highest altitude of the world based on ancient Tibet society, culture and religion which is isolated from the rest of the world. The travelers will see the Himalayas of Annapurna, Gangapurna, Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, and other known Himalayas of western Nepal. After crossing the deserts of Manang and Mustang the travelers finally lands on the lush valley of Annapurna National Park where travelers pass through green forests, beautiful valley, traditional village settlements living with nature, forests and wild animals.

The Annapurna circuit trekking is the walking adventure that circles around the Annapurna Himalayas travelling through the nature, forest, civilization, lakes and rivers that are perfectly in natural condition and human settlements there are still living in nature. This walking adventure is a back to wild nature travel adventure that takes the travelers to the high Himalayas and lush lowland valleys dominated by traditional and ethnic civilization found nowhere in the earth. This trekking a total walking that takes nearly one month or longer depending upon the health and stamina of travelers. The Annapurna circuit is famous for its natural beauty, unspoiled traditional civilization, farming lands, fascinating Himalaya views, lush valley, big glacier rivers, beautiful lakes along with flora and fauna of mountain region still living in their natural condition now protected by government and local people.

The featured remoteness, walking in the wild nature, and untouched regions of Annapurna circuit is been invaded by motor-able roads these days that is decreasing the walking days as travelers can take a bus or any vehicles for travel. This way the general 21-22 days of walking adventure of Annapurna circuit is decreased in to one week or five days which has invaded the highlighted walking perspective of this travel adventure. Though it seems the road construction will do good to the local civilization as it will introduce transportation to remote hilly regions but still the discussion has been going on a national level regarding the road construction which is still going on this region. The main feature of walking during the travel is to experience the beautiful nature, enchanting landscapes, magnificent Himalayas, traditional farming lands assorted by unspoiled traditional civilization, culture, society and religion of Annapurna region.

The travelers cross through four rural districts of Nepal during their travel which starts from Lamjung district passing through Manang, Mustang and finally ending at Myagdi district of Nepal. Beginning from lowlands of besi-sahar the traveler traverses through the high altitude regions of Manang and Mustang till the altitude of 5000 meters then slowly descending towards the lowland valley of Myagdi district. Manang and Mustang are the regions of higher altitude inhabited by the civilization of Tibetan Buddhist and Bhotia race who generally lives in the Himalayas and higher altitudes. The Manang region has traditional ethnic race called Gurungs who are not Tibetans and have their solitary social legacy in Manang region. The Mustang region has the civilization arise from Tibetan ethnic as this region most lies on Tibetan border and is called the Little Tibet of Nepal. The Mustang was once the region of Tibet which is won by Nepal over a battle.

Mustang is the one of the last places of the earth where the ancient Bonpo religion still exists. Bonpo is one of the oldest religion of ancient times when humans were savages and they used to worship nature. Bonpo religion is taken over by Buddhism and taken as third school of Buddhism. The traditional settlements where this religion is still followed by human settlements are Lupra, Thini, Jomsom, Nargon and Kobang. The Annapurna circuit travel adventure move forwards its ending destination at Nayapul passing over Manaslu Mountain, Lumjung Himal, Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Annapurna I and Dhaulagiri Himalayas landing at Ghorepani-Poonhill viewpoint. The travelers stay at Ghorepani and have the Himalaya panorama views of Annapurna Himalayas, Dhaulagiri Himalayas and its surrounding mountains along with world’s deepest valley of Kaligandaki River.

The Annapurna Circuit trekking adventure is a teahouse trek with the facility of simple lodges and catering places on the trekking trails during the whole travel course. The lodges offer communications and internet services to their guests.
